Collecting data

All these rules and workflows can be recorded in a data management plan or in a data curation profile. These documents ensure that the lifecycle of the data can be traced at any point in time. It also supports the reproducibility of the results and promotes the reuse of the data. In certain settings, aspects of data protection or the selection of adequate metadata must already be taken into account at this stage.
